How Tip-Me works

Every trade on a Tip-Me coin pays a creator fee. That fee is bound to one recipient at launch and cannot be moved afterwards. Here is the whole loop in five steps.

   You pick a creator handle and a coin name. Nothing else.

   Pons sets the recipient

   The launch factory writes creatorFeeRecipient into the token at mint time.

   Fees accrue on-chain

   Each buy and sell on the bonding curve adds to the creator's vault on Robinhood Chain.

4. 4

   Hourly sweep credits dollars

   The vault is swept once an hour and the ETH value is frozen at the receipt rate.

5. 5

   A Video Gift is sent

   The credited dollars are spent on TikTok Coins and sent to the creator's video as a gift.

Trading fees charged by the Pons curve itself are separate from the creator fee and are set by the launchpad, not by Tip-Me.

A job runs on the schedule 0 * * * * — the top of every hour. It collects each creator vault, converts the ETH to a dollar figure at the rate observed on receipt, and freezes that figure so later price moves don't change what a creator is owed.

A Coin costs about $0.0106 to buy. Two Coins of gift value convert to one Diamond, and a Diamond is worth about $0.005 when a creator cashes out. That gap — roughly 53% — is TikTok's platform fee, not ours. Tip-Me takes nothing out of the creator fee at any point in the path.

Every $20.00 delivered to a creator prints a milestone receipt with the gift, the coins behind it, and the transactions that funded it.

Tip-Me never holds your coin, your wallet or the creator's account. You sign the launch yourself, the recipient is written on-chain at mint, and every fee movement on Robinhood Chain is public on Blockscout. The only off-chain step is buying the TikTok Coins used for the gift.

A gift can only land if the creator's account can receive one. TikTok generally requires the creator to be 18 or older, to have at least 10,000 followers, and to have Video Gifts enabled in their region. If the account isn't eligible, the balance is held against the handle and sent once it becomes eligible — it is never absorbed.

Held balances keep their frozen dollar value.
